Rivne Pokrovskyi Shopping Center reopens after renovation (photo review)

The renovated shopping center is now home to the THRASH!THRASH! grocery market, and by the end of the week another anchor tenant — a Polish fashion brand Sinsay is set to launch.

This information came from the press service of the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), which serves as the exclusive broker for Pokrovskyi Shopping Center. It is worth noting that the Rivne Pokrovskyi Shopping Center, located at 1 Knyahyni Olhy Street, had been closed since 2022.

“During the renovation, the developer and project consultant — the Rentos Group and RDA, respectively, updated the facility and its concept by changing the anchor tenants. In mid-December, the THRASH!THRASH! grocery market began operations, along with the Patifon gadget and accessories store, an E-ZOO online store pickup point and a currency exchange office,” said Andriy Zhuk, a partner at Retail & Development Advisor.

According to him, the grocery "anchor" of the facility—the THRASH!ТРАШ! market from the Fozzy Group holding has been located on the first floor of the shopping center. Its total area is approximately 420 square meters with the retail space covering nearly 250 square meters.

“The new modern THRASH!ТРАШ! market has been adorned with original graffiti, which was hand-painted and organically integrated into the interior design. Additionally visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the interesting assortment of products, delicious homemade pizza and pastries, a coffee corner and numerous promotions that the company has prepared for its guests,” clarified Artem Bezkorovainyi, CEO of the THRASH!THRASH! network.

Meanwhile, Rentos Group founder Oleksandr Overchuk noted that the renovation project for Pokrovskyi Shopping Center included not only the refurbishment of the facility but also the improvement of the surrounding area, covering approximately 1,000 square meters.

“As a result, a modern and inclusive public space has been created: new relaxation zones have been installed, emergency stairs have been dismantled and replaced with convenient ramps, pavement replacement and the installation of a comfortable ramp have been carried out, the green area has been increased fivefold with perennial plants, pedestrian and vehicle segregation has been implemented, parking spaces for people with disabilities have been arranged, tactile guiding tiles and a business hours sign in Braille font have been installed, and much more,” explained Oleksandr Overchuk.

He also added that the reopening of the shopping center has created 50 new jobs. Preliminary calculations indicate that this will bring over 500,000 UAH in monthly revenue to the budget.

On December 21, another anchor tenant — a popular Ukrainian clothing brand, Sinsay will open in the shopping center, followed by the Equador coffee shop and Pharmacy 911 in January. According to Oleksandr Overchuk, all these tenants will successfully complement the shopping center's concept of convenient daily shopping and will operate synergistically with each other.
