Ukrainian investors are showing strong interest in acquiring a full-cycle Polish meat processing plant with an annual turnover of €25 million.
The news was shared by Andriy Zhuk, a partner at the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA). According to him, RDA is acting as the authorized sales representative for this asset and has already begun negotiations with a number of interested investors.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale war, many Ukrainian companies have been actively seeking opportunities to diversify their assets and enter new markets. The interest from Ukrainian investors is therefore quite natural, especially considering that the plant in question has a solid reputation, is certified according to European standards, and has well-established distribution channels. All these factors make the asset an efficient gateway for launching or expanding business operations within the EU,” explained Zhuk.
The meat processing plant has been successfully operating for over 35 years. It is located in Eastern Poland, a region known for its well-developed livestock and agricultural sectors. The company specializes in the production of beef and pork.
In addition to the main 3,200 sq. m meat processing facility with its own certified beef and pork slaughterhouse, the asset also includes:
- a private vehicle fleet and fueling station,
- a cattle breeding farm (3 hectares),
- and a network of 9 branded retail stores.
The facility fully complies with EU standards and holds all the necessary certifications to operate within the European Union and export products internationally.
“Ukrainian businesses have long viewed Poland as a key gateway for expansion into the EU. Investments in the meat processing sector — which continues to show steady growth — offer a promising path to entering the European market quickly and securing solid medium-term returns. RDA, in turn, guarantees transparency throughout the process and provides full professional support for the deal,” added RDA CEO Andriy Lototskyi.
RDA also noted that the final deal value will depend on multiple factors at the time of signing, including market conditions and the course of negotiations.
