Yves Rocher cosmetics brand opened a new boutique in Kharkiv

The French brand of natural cosmetics Yves Rocher opened a store in the Nikolsky shopping and entertainment center in Kharkiv.

This was reported by the press service of the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), which acted as a broker during the signing of the lease agreement for the premises in the mall. According to its information, a new Yves Rocher outlet opened on April 16 on the second floor of the shopping and entertainment center.

 

"The situation in Kharkiv remains difficult, but business finds opportunities not only for continuing work, but also for development. System shopping and entertainment centers, including Nikolsky, are the most attractive for opening new stores. In addition to a good location and a high-quality tenant mix this mall has an underground level that can be used as a shelter and continues to work during air raids," commented the general director of RDA Andriy Lototskyi.

 

According to him the Yves Rocher store in the Nikolsky shopping center occupied an area of 15.7 square meters and became the first new facility of the cosmetic brand in Ukraine, opened since the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022.

 

"Recent years have become a real test for the country and business, including Kharkiv, which is in close proximity to the war zone. It is all the more symbolic that Yves Rocher is opening its first new store since the beginning of the Great War in a city that has become one of the symbols of the indomitable Ukrainian people.

I hope that the launch of Yves Rocher in Kharkiv in such a difficult time will be a signal for other brands about the need to continue or resume work in the city", - said the director of the Yves Rocher retail chain Yevhen Lykhodid.

 

In turn, representatives of the Nikolsky Shopping Center noted that despite the difficult situation in Kharkiv new operators are opening in the city, which shows the support and faith in Ukraine from international business.

 

We will remind that the French cosmetic company Yves Rocher, specializing in the production of cosmetics and perfumes, was founded in 1959. The brand has been operating in Ukraine since 1992 and currently has a network of 79 stores in different regions of the country. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion the company has joined the support of the country, donating about 500,000 goods and 250,000 euros for humanitarian needs.
