The RDA company and the Reima network agreed on the outsourcing of the development department

The Retail & Development Advisor (RDA) consulting company will support the Reima chain of children's clothing stores in leasing and opening new stores.

 

As the marketing director of Reima in Ukraine Viktoriya-Maria Baryshnikova said, the company decided to outsource the development department for a number of reasons, but the main one is the extensive experience and expertise of the RDA company in the commercial real estate market.

 

 

"Agreeing on mutually beneficial conditions with landlords on your own is sometimes quite difficult: there is not enough knowledge about the "internal" kitchen, development plans, negotiation skills, sometimes it's just a matter of time. So we decided to delegate it to the professionals. Proper, mutually beneficial relations with shopping centers are an important asset that brings at least some stability to our business, and we want to strengthen them, as well as our internal expertise," says the marketing director of Reima in Ukraine.

 

According to her, at the peak of development, the company's network included 18 stores, and now it has 15 operating outlets in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv. In August of this year, the retailer opened a new store in the Victoria Gardens shopping center in Lviv with the assistance of RDA, and under favorable circumstances plans to launch additional locations in the western regions of the country next year.

 

 

"But the global plan is to develop the existing stores: make renovations, improve the assortment and service, so that our customers can quickly and with pleasure find everything they need from us. It may be necessary to close in less successful places and try something new. After all, in today's difficult times, even in order to maintain our positions, we need to work better, faster and more efficiently," adds Viktoriya-Maria Baryshnikova.

 

Retail & Development Advisor emphasizes that in cooperation with the Reima brand, the company will take over all the responsibilities of the development department. Including communications related to the lease, negotiations, document management, etc.
