JTI Ukraine opens another Ploom X Advanced store

A new retail outlet of the technology brand Ploom began operating at the end of December in the Lavina Mall shopping and entertainment center.

This was reported by the press service of the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), which acts as the exclusive partner and broker of JTI Ukraine in this project.

The new store in the “island” format with an area of 20 sq. m. has become the third in the Ploom brand network in Ukraine. All of them operate in the most popular shopping centers of the capital. In addition to the Lavina Mall, retail outlets are represented in the Gulliver MFC and the River Mall.

“Opening stores in the most popular shopping centers in Kyiv gives the brand significant competitive advantages. First, it guarantees access to a large and diverse audience, since these locations are a magnet for buyers of different ages and preferences. Secondly, the presence in prestigious shopping centers strengthens the brand image, associating it with high quality standards and modern trends. Finally, such locations provide excellent opportunities for integration with other retail formats, events and marketing activities, which contributes to the growth of customer recognition and loyalty,” commented Anna Yatsenko, RDA’s retail real estate manager.

In turn, JTI Ukraine noted that in the new branded point in the Lavina Mall shopping center you can purchase the entire color range of Ploom devices, accessories for devices and Sobranie tobacco-containing electric heating products. In addition, store customers have the opportunity to use the device rental service.

"At the same time, the launch of branded stores in leading shopping centers in Kyiv allows us to get as close to our customers as possible, providing them with convenient access to products, professional advice and a unique experience. We are confident that the combination of an innovative approach, high quality and strategically selected locations will be the key to the success of the new brand,” added Dariya Sergienko, head of the low-risk product category development group and digital technologies direction.

According to her, a new Ploom store is planned to open in the capital’s Respublika Park shopping and entertainment center in January. The company does not advertise further development plans, but it was previously reported that JTI Ukraine intends to invest about $60 million in the new product during 2024–2026.
