The construction of Uzhgorod Shopping Center Ukraine is planned to be completed by December 2024

Construction readiness of the Uzhgorod shopping and entertainment center Ukraine is already more than 50%.

This was reported to RAU by the consulting company Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), which acts as the exclusive broker of the future facility with a total area of more than 20,000 square meters.

 

"Construction readiness of the mall has crossed the 50% mark. The underground parking lot with entrances and all three floors of the concrete structure on the left side of the facility are already fully completed. By April 2024, the main construction works will be fully completed and repair and finishing works will begin," commented Mykola Dmytruk, director of the Ukraine Shopping Center.

 

According to him, a significant part of the work on the construction of the largest modern shopping center in Zakarpattia region was done even before the full-scale invasion. At the same time, the construction of the object continues at the planned pace even in the current difficult time. As early as September, 1 next year, adaptation works of a grocery supermarket with an area of 2,000 square meters are planned to begin at the facility, as well as repair of premises of other anchor tenants of the complex. The official opening of the Shopping Center Ukraine for visitors is planned for the IV quarter of 2024.

 

Previously, the RDA company had already started the process of forming its tenant mix. It is assumed that, in addition to a grocery supermarket, format stores of national and international operators, a modern premium-class cinema, restaurants and a food court area will open in the mall.

 

We remind you that the new shopping center will be located on Cyril and Methodius Square, on Svobody Avenue, not far from the historical center of the city. The developer of the object expects that the good location on the main avenue of the city, the proximity to the center and densely populated residential areas nearby will provide the shopping and entertainment center with consistently high traffic. According to preliminary calculations, the attendance rate of the mall will reach 15,000 customers per day in the first year of operation.

 

As part of the implementation of the project, modern construction technologies are used, and all current regulations of the Federal Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry are taken into account, including regarding the inclusiveness of shopping malls and the arrangement of safe and comfortable shelter for visitors. In addition, it is planned to arrange a square near the new shopping center, which will become a real decoration of the city.
