Leading European discount retailer Pepco has officially announced the opening dates of its first stores in Kyiv. Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), a consulting company, is the brand’s exclusive representative in Ukraine, overseeing the launch and development of the retail network in the Ukrainian market.
To support its market entry, the retailer has already launched its official local website, pepco.ua, where consumers can explore the range of home goods, clothing, and children’s products, as well as current prices, ahead of the opening of physical stores.
Exclusive Partnership and Strategic Expansion
RDA has signed an exclusive agreement to expand the Pepco retail network in Ukraine. The consulting firm’s specialists provide comprehensive support throughout the development and implementation of the brand’s long-term growth strategy — from in-depth analysis of potential locations and negotiations with retail property owners to structuring and signing lease agreements.
Schedule of the First Store Openings in Kyiv
In just a few days, Pepco’s first stores in Kyiv will open their doors to customers. The opening schedule is as follows:
- October 28 — Respublika Park Shopping Mall
- October 30 — Retroville Shopping Mall
- October 30 — Dream Yellow Shopping Mall
The next step in the pilot phase of the expansion will be the launch of stores in western Ukraine, in Ternopil and Chernivtsi.
A Strong Signal for the Ukrainian Market
The entry of an international retailer of this scale into Ukraine is always a landmark event for the industry. It is particularly significant amid the ongoing full-scale war, when many foreign companies remain cautious about investing or are scaling back their operations. Pepco’s arrival and successful launch send a strong signal of confidence in Ukraine and the resilience of its economy.
