A new modern shopping mall, Areal Plaza, has opened in the Ternopil region

The three-story Areal Plaza shopping mall officially opened in late June in the city of Chortkiv, Ternopil region. The development comprises more than 4,900 sq m of gross area, including 3,300 sq m of leasable retail space.

According to the press office of Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), the mall’s exclusive leasing broker, Areal Plaza is located in the very heart of the city at 19 Tarasa Shevchenka Street, adjacent to the City Council.

“In addition to its prime location, the new shopping mall features a well-balanced tenant mix, including an ATB supermarket (1,350 sq m), Foxtrot electronics store (290 sq m), ALLO electronics retailer (150 sq m), EVA drogerie chain (180 sq m), and several other brands.

In the near future, the tenant roster will also be joined by Sinsay, the highly popular Polish fashion retailer in Ukraine, occupying 750 sq m. Together, these operators create a modern retail environment that meets the everyday needs of Chortkiv residents and neighboring communities. We are confident that Areal Plaza will become a new focal point for the city and a successful platform for the growth of both national and international brands,” said Andrii Lototskyi, CEO of RDA.

According to him, approximately 50,000 people live within the mall’s catchment area, supporting an estimated daily footfall of 4,000–6,000 visitors.

In addition to the above-mentioned retailers, the shopping mall also houses the Andi (120 sq m) and Sezon (100 sq m) fashion stores, the 3i pharmacy (70 sq m), Rubin (70 sq m) and SYUF (43 sq m) jewelry stores, TechnoMaster (39 sq m) and MTA (38 sq m) electronics and gadget retailers, the Handmade craft store (37 sq m), and a Vapers island kiosk.

Areal Plaza also features the Premiera cinema, offering a modern and comfortable 65-seat auditorium equipped for 3D film screenings. The shopping mall has already achieved an occupancy rate of over 90%, with additional tenants expected to join in the near future.
