Kharkiv TEC Nikolsky intends to reach a zero vacancy in advance of August this year.

Occupancy of recently opened in Kharkiv shopping and entertainment center Nikolsky has already reached 98%. More than a million customers visited TEC last month.

The Retail & Development Advisor (RDA) consulting company informed about these data with reference to figures provided by Budhouse Group, the developer of the project. “Occupancy of TEC Nikolsky considering open doors has already reached 98%. Only two restaurants and some stores stay closed in cash-register area. They should open until early August already,” RDA clarified.

The company recalls that RDA was a broker while signing lease agreements with a row of iconic operators. German fashion-brand New Yorker (1,550 sq. m), Marmalade Cat candy store (138 sq. m), Marathon (327 sq. m), Betty Barclay (176 sq. m), Roy Robson (163 sq. m), and Jack Wolfskin (107 sq. m) retailers are among them. In this way, the total area of all stores with signed through RDA agreements is already over 2,460 sq. m in TEC Nikolsky.

“We are happy to get famous retailers to the pool of tenant in TEC Nikolsky. We are sure that stores will extend the list of goods in TEC and attract more customers to strengthen synergetic effect and improve efficiency of all commercial operators’ work in TEC Nikolsky,” Taisia Lytovchenko, СЕО of RDA, commented.

At the same time, the development company Budhouse Group noted that more than a million people visited TEC in June. Yet, the developer is expecting an organic growth of key performance indicators for the project in the coming years.

“We’re absolutely satisfied with its performance in the first full month. Traffic exceeds our expectations by approximately 10%, while tenants’ turnovers and profitability of TEC – by 20%. We are waiting for good organic growth of all indicators of TEC’s work by no less than 10%–15% for the first three months,” Maxym Gavriushyn, COO in Budhouse Group, emphasized.

We will remind you that Kharkiv TEC Nikolsky opened its doors for customers in May 22 this year. New shopping and entertainment center is located at 2, Pushkinska Street in the center of the city. It became one of largest commercial objects in Kharkiv. The mall’s total area is 106,000 sq. m, and a commercial zone occupies 53,000 sq. m. Parking has 700 places for vehicles. The overall investment into the project is nearly $124M.
