A modern retail park with stores from well-known brands has opened in Mukachevo

Retail Park Mukachevo opened on November 15 at 21 Andrey Sheptytsky Street. Stores such as Sinsay, Waikiki, COMFY, and Megasport are already operating there, and outlets of other well-known chains will open soon.

The launch of this new, modern retail park in Transcarpathia was announced by the press service of URTC on behalf of Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), the exclusive broker of the property.

According to project manager Anna Yatsenko, the total area of the first stage of Retail Park Mukachevo exceeds 8,600 sq.m. On the opening day, several stores began operating at the site, including Sinsay (577 sq. m) and Waikiki (1,235 sq. m) clothing stores, the sporting goods retailer Megasport (577 sq. m), as well as COMFY, an electronics and home appliance retailer (894 sq. m).

LC Waikiki’s General Manager in Ukraine, Oleksiy Hryshko, noted that during martial law the company continues to maintain a stable presence in Ukraine and invest in regions where it sees real demand and development potential.

"The decision to open a store specifically in Retail Park Mukachevo was made after a detailed analysis of the location, traffic, and operational capabilities of the site. Retail Park Mukachevo is a modern, well-designed retail space that creates a comfortable environment for shoppers and brands alike. Mukachevo is an active and economically developed city with a high level of consumer demand. The need for affordable, high-quality clothing for the whole family is growing, making the city attractive for further development of fashion retail, commented Hryshko."

He added that the company sees great potential in the western region and is working on projects in Stryi, Kolomyia, Tatariv, and Khust. LC Waikiki is also exploring opportunities to expand its network in Lviv and is resuming development in central and eastern regions, with a new opening planned in Kryvyi Rih.

COMFY’s Chief Operating Officer, Nataliia Kutuzova, emphasized that Transcarpathia remains one of the most dynamic regions in terms of population growth and consumer activity, while Mukachevo is a major logistics hub with strong purchasing power thanks to a stable economy and tourism flow.

"For retailers, this means predictable demand and the opportunity for long-term growth. COMFY sees sustained interest in modern appliances and home solutions in the region, so opening a new store is a logical step to strengthen its presence. Retail Park Mukachevo is located in an area with optimal potential traffic and convenient transport accessibility, near a home improvement hypermarket and dining venues, ensuring a stable flow of visitors. For COMFY, this is a strategically advantageous location, especially considering the spacious layout, two separate entrances, proper navigation, and store visibility from the highway, Kutuzova explained."

Commenting on the first days of the complex’s operation, Andrii Lototskyi, Managing Partner of the operating company “Pro Management,” noted that foot traffic and sales of the retailers significantly exceeded expectations.

"The large parking lot with more than 200 spaces was completely full, and the stores that opened showed excellent results during the very first weekend. With the launch of the remaining retailers, we expect further improvement in performance. Soon, Retail Park Mukachevo will see the opening of a Jysk furniture supermarket (1,359 sq. m), a Holz doors and flooring showroom (201 sq. m), Andi family clothing store (142 sq. m), a flower boutique (94 sq. m), and a Nova Poshta branch (586 sq. m). In December, the grand opening of the entire complex will take place, Lototskyi added."

He also reported the start of construction on the second stage of Retail Park Mukachevo, with an area of more than 15,500 sq. m. After its completion, preliminarily scheduled for late 2026, the total area of the complex will exceed 24,200 sq.m. The tenant mix will expand with new national and international brands entering Mukachevo for the first time, providing a full range of consumer offerings.
