LC Waikiki Opens Its First Store in Kyiv Since the Start of the Full-Scale War

A new store of the Turkish fashion brand LC Waikiki opened at the end of 2025 in the Cosmo Multimall shopping and entertainment center in Kyiv.

This was reported by the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), which acted as the broker in signing the lease agreement for the store premises.

According to RDA Project Manager Alina Abramtseva, the new LC Waikiki store in Kyiv is located on the first floor of Cosmo Multimall and occupies an area of over 1,350 sq m. The store opened in a new, modern format and offers customers the brand’s full range for the whole family, including women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, as well as basic and seasonal collections.

“The opening of the first LC Waikiki store in Kyiv since the start of the full-scale war is an important signal for the entire retail real estate and fashion retail market. International brands carefully assess risks, footfall, and purchasing power, so LC Waikiki’s decision to reinvest in development indicates a restoration of confidence in the Ukrainian market. For Cosmo Multimall, this deal significantly strengthens the tenant mix, and for the market as a whole it confirms that high-quality shopping centers with the right concept and audience remain attractive to international players even under challenging market conditions,” commented Alina Abramtseva.

In turn, LC Waikiki Ukraine CEO Oleksii Hryshko recalled that after the outbreak of the full-scale war, the development of the chain was forced to pause, and the company focused on operational stability, adaptation to new conditions, and supporting already opened stores.

“Despite the difficult circumstances, the brand demonstrated stable results and positive dynamics, which by the end of 2025 created the basis for resuming active development. Customer demand and trust in the brand made it possible to move to a new stage of network expansion. Thus, at the end of last year we opened stores not only in Kyiv, but also in Mukachevo (Retail Park Mukachevo) and Chernivtsi (Bukovyna Mall). These openings became the starting point for a new stage of the network’s development in Ukraine,” Oleksii Hryshko emphasized.

He added that during 2026 the company plans to continue active expansion. In particular, the retailer is already working on opening a second store in Kryvyi Rih, as well as new retail locations in Bila Tserkva and Boryspil. At the same time, LC Waikiki plans to strengthen its presence in Dnipro, Lutsk, Odesa, Zhytomyr, and Uzhhorod, and is also considering development opportunities in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia.
