Ukrainian fashion retailer guide has opened a new guide store at the Lubava shopping mall in Cherkasy. It is the chain’s first store in the city and its tenth store in Ukraine.
Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), a consulting company, acted as an intermediary in signing the lease agreement for the premises at the shopping mall.
"The guide chain remains one of the few Ukrainian companies in the fashion segment that continues to actively develop during the full-scale war. Today, the chain already has 10 retail locations in eight Ukrainian cities — Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Rivne, and Ivano-Frankivsk — and also operates its own online store. Under conditions where some international retailers are restraining their expansion in the country due to security risks, professional local companies are gaining additional opportunities to strengthen their positions in the locations that are most promising for this,” commented Andrii Lototskyi, CEO of RDA.

In turn, Oleksandr Sattarov, Strategic Development Consultant for the guide chain, added that one of the main advantages of this location is the entrance area with a storefront that is clearly visible from the street. This provides additional external visibility, attracting the attention not only of shopping mall visitors but also of passers-by.
“The store will operate in our classic format, which combines recognizable design with convenient zoning. The space here is divided into different brand stories and product groups, which we pay a great deal of attention to in order to create convenient navigation for customers. At the same time, particular attention has been paid to the entrance area and the large footwear wall, as this category is one of the key categories for our business. The assortment features leading international brands, including adidas, Puma, Nike, New Balance, On, Merrell, Hoka, ASICS, Oakley, Converse, Vans, Jack Wolfskin, as well as Ukrainian manufacturers,” said Oleksandr Sattarov.
According to him, the company will continue developing its retail network in the near future. In particular, two new stores in Kyiv are planned to open within the next month. These retail locations will be implemented according to a new design concept that will demonstrate the direction in which the chain is moving in terms of its concept, philosophy, and response to global and local trends.
In addition, the company will pay even greater attention to operational processes, marketing, assortment development, and its online store, where it sees significant potential for further growth.
