At the Mukachevo retail park, the city’s first New Balance store has opened

With the launch of the international sportswear brand New Balance, occupancy at the Zakarpattia-based retail park has increased to nearly 100%.
The announcement was made by Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), the exclusive broker for the property.

New Balance officially opened at Retail Park Mukachevo on August 22. The store occupies approximately 500 sq m, combining an outlet format with an extensive area showcasing the brand’s new collection.

“This opening marks another important milestone in the development of a high-quality tenant mix at Retail Park Mukachevo. It is essential for us that each new operator complements the existing offering and meets the needs of different visitor segments. New Balance will further expand the complex’s audience and significantly strengthen its sportswear segment, which already includes operators such as Marathon and Megasport,” said Andrii Lototskyi, CEO of Retail & Development Advisor.

According to him, the opening of New Balance has brought the occupancy rate of Retail Park Mukachevo to 98%. Other operators already present at the complex include Sinsay, LC Waikiki, Comfy, Jysk, Holz, Andi, CCC, Worldbox, Okwine, Zolotyi Vik, as well as several service tenants, including Nova Poshta and a flower shop.

At the same time, RDA continues to work on the development of Retail Park Mukachevo. The second phase of the complex is currently at the final stage of approving the project documentation and obtaining the necessary permits before construction begins.

“The first phase of the retail park is already demonstrating an occupancy rate of almost 100%. This indicates the success of the property and strong prospects for its further development. With the opening of the second phase, covering nearly 15,900 sq m, we will be able to further strengthen the complex’s tenant mix. We are already holding intensive negotiations with potential tenants and will soon be able to provide more details about the tenant lineup for the second phase of the retail park,” Andrii Lototskyi added.

The first phase of Retail Park Mukachevo, with a total area of 8,600 sq m, opened in November last year. Once the second phase is completed, the total area of the property will increase to 24,500 sq m.
