Construction of Kvartal City Shopping and Entertainment Center Begins in Lviv (Presentation)

The complex is located at 313 Shevchenka Street. The total area of the mall will be nearly 50,000 square meters, with 20,000 square meters available for lease.
The opening of Kvartal City is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027. This was reported to RAU by the consulting company Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), which serves as the exclusive broker for the project.
All necessary permits for the construction of the shopping and entertainment center have already been obtained. Preparatory work has been completed on the site, and actual construction will begin in September this year.

Kvartal City will have three floors, along with an underground parking lot of 8,900 sq. m and a multi-level parking facility of 14,600 sq. m. The total number of parking spaces will be 523.

“This will not be a classic shopping mall, but a multifunctional space for daily needs, leisure, and community — a ‘second heart’ of the neighborhood,” said Alina Abramtsieva, Project Director at RDA. “The concept envisions ‘Everyday Comfort’ for residents of the Riasne district, with a supermarket as the main traffic driver, complemented by useful services like a pharmacy, post office, dry cleaner, pet store, banks, and mobile operators. It will be ‘a place for the whole family’ featuring a children’s entertainment zone, a cinema, a large food court and restaurant area (2,000 sq. m), and, of course, retail space with international and national fashion brands, children’s stores, electronics, perfumes, cosmetics, and more.” In total, 75 stores are planned within the complex.

The center is located in the Riasne neighborhood on the northwestern outskirts of Lviv. The combined area of the two residential districts in Riasne is 997 hectares, with approximately 38,000 residents. Kvartal City will be the only shopping mall in the northwestern part of Lviv, serving residents of Riasne, Riasne-2, Riasne-Ruske, the town of Ivano-Frankove, and the surrounding suburban areas.

The mall is situated directly on the international M10 highway, which connects Lviv to Krakivets on the Polish border. It is also close to Lviv’s ring road, ensuring additional traffic to Kvartal City.
Kvartal City aims to become a hub for a safe and inclusive environment, featuring walking areas, green zones, and free weekend activities.

Alina Abramtsieva adds:
“We have already finalized the agreement with our main anchor tenant — a supermarket — and we are actively negotiating with other anchor tenants in parallel.”
