Turkish fashion retailer LC Waikiki is joining the pool of tenants at Kyiv’s Cosmo Multimall shopping center. This marks the company’s return to a growth trajectory, with plans for further expansion across various regions of Ukraine.
The announcement was made by consulting company Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), which acted as the broker for the lease agreement. According to Alina Abramceva, RDA’s project manager, the new store will occupy over 1,356 square meters on the first floor of the mall, located in Block A.
“This is a prime location that fully meets the brand's standards, allowing the retailer to implement its full commercial concept. Moreover, placing LC Waikiki alongside other fashion retailers will create a ‘fashion cluster,’ which will stimulate cross-traffic and ensure a steady flow of shoppers. LC Waikiki is a strategic player that will enhance product diversity, increase foot traffic, and improve the mall’s emotional appeal,” stated Alina Abramceva.
The management of Cosmo Multimall agrees that LC Waikiki’s opening will be a significant milestone in forming a balanced tenant mix within the complex.
“The new store will complement our retail gallery, which already includes House, Cropp, Sinsay, Argo, Levi’s, Colin’s, Intertop, and other well-known brands. We expect this opening to strengthen Cosmo Multimall’s position as a must-visit shopping destination, attract new audiences, and boost the overall turnover of the mall,” said Cosmo Multimall CEO Olga Chorna.
She also noted that the current vacancy rate in the mall stands at 8%, but the company aims to fully eliminate vacancies by the end of 2025, completing the tenant mix renewal. Special attention is being given to strengthening the fashion segment, expanding sports offerings, and enhancing entertainment infrastructure.
Meanwhile, LC Waikiki’s General Manager in Ukraine, Oleksii Hryshko, confirmed that the store in Cosmo Multimall is set to open this fall.
“This new store is another step toward strengthening the brand’s presence in the capital. At the same time, we have resumed the development of our network across Ukraine. In 2025, we plan to open new stores in Mukachevo (Zakarpattia region) and Chernivtsi. In 2026–27, our plans are even more ambitious — over ten new openings in different regions. Alongside our expansion, LC Waikiki will focus on enhancing customer experience, digital transformation, and e-commerce development,” Hryshko explained.
RDA also emphasized that LC Waikiki’s renewed growth signals a highly important and positive message from a major international player — proof that successful operations and investment in Ukraine are possible even amid wartime conditions.
