A New Infiniti Plaza Shopping Mall with a Unique Educational Hub to Open in Lviv

The five-storey Infiniti Plaza shopping and entertainment center in Lviv’s Sykhivskyi district is set to begin construction next year, with the opening of the complex planned for the first half of 2028.

This was reported by the consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), which acts as the official broker of the mall. According to the concept developed by RDA jointly with the architectural and engineering company AVR Development, the total area of the complex will amount to 41,100 sq m, with approximately 22,520 sq m of leasable space.

It is planned that the first three floors of Infinity Plaza will house stores of well-known retail chains, cafés and restaurants, as well as a cinema and a children’s entertainment center. The fourth and fifth floors will be allocated to an educational hub, a media library, and coworking spaces.

Particular emphasis is placed on the creation of a large educational hub equipped with spaces for startups as well as for school and university students. Within this innovative environment, facilities for clubs, courses, sports sections, and creative activities are planned. As a result, the densely populated Sykhivskyi district will receive not only modern retail infrastructure but also an important educational component, which will have a positive impact on the development of both the district and the city as a whole.

According to RDA CEO Andrii Lototskyi, the commercial infrastructure of the Sykhivskyi district, whose population exceeds 240,000 people and continues to grow dynamically, significantly lags behind other parts of Lviv in terms of the quantity and volume of professional retail space, as well as the presence of national and international retail chains.

"Under these conditions, Infinity Plaza has the potential to become a favorite shopping and leisure destination for Sykhiv residents. According to preliminary forecasts, the daily footfall of Infinity Plaza will reach 20,000–25,000 visitors per day. “Our goal is to create a new point of attraction by developing a modern space for learning and informal communication. In addition, the opening of stores by well-known retail chains will provide new jobs and stimulate the district’s economic growth,” Andrii Lototskyi is confident.

He also noted that despite the early stage of the project’s implementation, the company has already received inquiries from national and international retail and entertainment operators, including a grocery supermarket, a children’s entertainment center, and a cinema. In the near future, RDA plans to intensify the mall’s brokerage process and begin negotiations with globally recognized brands to form the most efficient and attractive tenant mix for Sykhiv residents.

The company also emphasized that the project предусматриває the development of a two-level underground parking facility. After expansion, its total capacity will be 340 parking spaces, ensuring convenient access to the complex for motorists. The parking facility will also operate at night and can be used by local residents as a shelter during air raid alerts.
